My-T-Pen uses only three graphical icons on its buttons, the rest consist only of text. Two important points must be made about this:
It was our intention to make My-T-Pen easy to use for all levels of computer users. Due to the sizing concerns of My-T-Pen, and the inherent problems of shrinking and growing graphical images, dealing only with text was the most reasonable solution.
Even though a picture may be worth a thousand words, in most cases for My-T-Pen, one will do. Also, to finalize our point, just sit in front of an unfamiliar application with a graphical button bar, and quickly discern what each button does.
Hopefully, with Quick Help and the button name, a new user to My-T-Pen can learn the function of each button quickly.
Finally, since the user can build Panels, imagine the amount of extra effort required to build a graphical icon for each macro...
