When you install using the IMG installation files, you have the option of selecting "Add to Startup Group" - if you have already installed, used the MSI (Windows) installer, or need to remove or add to the StartUp group, please refer to these notes.
The quickest and easiest way to access the StartUp group is to do the following:
Right-click on the Start Menu button
Select Explore all users
Double-click (select) the Programs folder
Double-click (select) the StartUp folder
If The Magnifier's icon is there and you want to remove it, you can delete it.
If you want to add The Magnifier's icon, you can right-click, and select New | Shortcut - then select The Magnifier from the \Program Files\The Magnifier folder. Alternatively, you can copy the Desktop icon, then paste it into this folder.
Note: The actual location changes based on which version of Windows you use. The above outlines how to add to the All Users section (so All Users will be affected). You can also only add the icon to your StartUp files. The details of Windows, and how to configure various versions of Windows is beyond the scope of this Help document.
