2.70 Release 4

The 2.70 Release 4 contains support for User Account Control in Windows Vista / Windows 7, maintenance updates, license updates, and synchronizes the release schedule with the IMG Products DVD. Note there is no Release 2 or 3.

2.70 Release

The 2.70 release provides only a few new features: Ability to use axis movement as triggers (button actions triggered via X or Y axis motion), and support for Windows Vista and Windows 7. The update also includes the IMG License Manager, IMG Download Manager, and HTML/PDF Help.

2.60 Release

The 2.60 release provides an updated Win32 release for support of all Win32 versions of Windows: Windows 95 / 98 / Me / NT / 2000 / XP. For these versions, help & the manual are included in the single file JTM.HLP.

Support for Windows 3.x is included and any notes for 2.51 apply to the 16-bit version (JOY2MSE.EXE).

New features include:

• support for multiple monitors (Windows 98/Me/2000/XP)

• Support for Buttons 9-32 on Enhanced Joysticks

• Support for Slider Control (Z axis), and Rudder Control

2.40 Release

Modifications for 2.40 include:

• Addition of special handling for Analog Joysticks to relieve drifting and asymmetric joystick operation

• Addition of Auto-Center option for Analog Joysticks

• Addition of Joystick Motion Threshold setting to increase or decrease sensitivity to joystick motion

• Addition of joystick position display to aid in calibration, operation, and initial settings

• Addition of dwell timer to automatically send a button press when joystick is left motionless after move

• Command Line parameter of "2" or "JOYSTICK2" forces Joystick-To-Mouse to use only the second joystick

Version 2.40 - 1/01/96

2.30 Release

Modifications for 2.30 include:

• Changes to SETUP.EXE and Joystick-To-Mouse to add Windows 95 compatibility.

• The Joystick drivers for Windows 3.1 have been moved into the JOYSTICK subdirectory. On certain systems the uncompressed files would be deleted on the floppy disk because of naming issues. See file notes below.

• On some non-Microsoft Video card drivers the SETUP.EXE will cause a system error (GPF). Try using a lower resolution or less colors (i.e. 16 instead of 256) during the setup portion, or use the default video drivers that came with Windows, or contact your video card manufacturer for their latest screen drivers.

Version 2.30 - 9/30/95

2.20 Release

Modifications for 2.20 include:

• Operation of Button Menu Shortcuts / Changes to Menu Dialogs

• Changes of several default settings based on testing results

• Button Settings are now normally available instead of Advanced

• Changes to calculations to allow for Center Range buffer
